Call center job is among the most fulfilling job for fresh graduates and for few tenure agents. The agent’s lifestyle is not typical. There are various twists and turns in their lifestyle such as; lunch at 3pm, dinner at 12midnight and breakfast at 10am – which basically instill no fix hours of rest and sleep. Personal work station and wristwatch or any timepiece accessory are the best buddies of call center agents since it tells them when to go to sleep, when to wake up, when to rest and when to eat.
Multi-tasking is what makes the job tough for most first time call center agents. Once the headset is put on, fingertips should be ready to go too while the ears and mind is receiving the info from the end caller. Emotion should be always up-close to

dy to hear those silly words like “stupid, incompetent, unreliable or worst criticism about your nationality”. These are just few of the many things to be expected in being a call center agent – and these are just few of the far-fetched truth that a call center agent should adapt sooner.
Being a call center agentis very promising since it is one of the high-paying jobs today. Similarly, it is also challenging while you are also learning more knowledge from various problems encountered in every call. It is just the way you view each problem, think optimistically. aspiring call center agents. So, be equipped with good vibes and extra-ordinary communication skills while taking calls. Myriad of people thinks that English accent is required to become a call center agent. This is not actually true. Becoming a call center agent is not just about good communication skills and English accent, these two are just the basic requirement but this can be learned along the way. Personally, accent is not an issue though it is a plus factor but not totally required.

Becoming a call center agent is also developing the 3 sides of your personality; patience, resourcefulness and sympathy. These 3 can be very tough to posses but you will learn it and get used to it once you become a call center agent.
